As a result of Gary Jefferson experiencing love ones die prematurely from preventable diseases and addictions, he was motivated to write an urban novel centered on these issues. With the advancements in modern medicine and the accessibility to affordable healthcare, there should be lower instances of people’s lives ending too soon.

This novel celebrates health screening, early disease detection and living a healthy life.

Gary is an Industrial Engineering Consultant for a major express cargo company. As a devoted health enthusiast, he spends much of his time educating others on proper exercise techniques and beneficial, health wellness behaviors. Gary currently resides in Memphis, Tennessee. His second novel which is a sequel to this one is in development.
